Digital Illustrations
Despite not being directly related to Communication Design, these are still the roots to my passion towards design and creative processes. Illustrations helped me realise that the idea of designing things that visually appeal to others, or are stylish is something I genuinely love.

A relatively more scenery focused painting, which I converted into a calendar page.
I was unfortunately unable to print this out physically, but ended up setting it as a calendar for my laptop background instead.
Red Packets Design, Chinese New Year
1st February 22, Red packets designed and printed out for the year of the tiger.
This was my first ever attempt in bringing any of my designs or illustrations to the physical world. I was quite happy with how it turned out.

'Garbage Maker'

Photograph taken for Secondary 3 end of year examinations for Art.We had to choose a theme regarding 'binary opposites' to explore in this particular assessment. This was one of the still life photographs taken to explore the theme I had gone with, 'an Artist Vs a Viewer'.I wanted to explore the dichotomy between an Artist Vs a Viewer's perception. This photograph in particular, is about the 'Artist's perception'.As an artist, we can almost always pick out flaws from within our works and constantly criticize ourselves for it. Sometimes it leads to a loop of self criticism, and a feeling of being nothing more than a 'Garbage Maker'.
Design for School Orchestra CCA
26th August 21This is a design originally made to be printed on a windbreaker for members of my school's Orchestra CCA. However, due to a lack of budget it has been scrapped.But even so, I decided to put these designs I've made in this portfolio.Each 'instrument' logo was to be printed on front of the windbreakers of members who played the respective instruments.While the large collective Orchestra Logo was meant to be printed at the back of all members' windbreakers.The instruments included are Dagu, Dizi, Suona, Daruan, Cello, ZhongYingShen. I tried to go for a painterly-texture for this design, to give rise to a relatively more traditional feel.
Icons for a mockup site

I... attempted to create an online furniture sales site with Figma. I tried to create most of the icons for the website, which includes the shop icon, search icon and menu icon.I really wish to improve in icon making, and better familiarize myself with vector design softwares.The photographs used are all taken by me on a trip to Ikea with my friend.
